welcome

If you are looking for feature articles that reflect a true understanding of your audience as well as the varied requirements of publishing businesses, you should talk to K.C. Nash.

K.C. has been creating articles for newspapers and magazines since 1995, when she began writing a weekly column for the San Ramon Valley Times, one of five dailies under the corporate heading of the Contra Costa Newspapers, a Knight-Ridder owned conglomerate. After two years as a columnist, and after a brief stint as a candidate for public office, she joined the staff full time as a Special Sections editor, organizing, writing and publishing several specialized tabloid inserts each month.

In 1999, she began writing feature articles for Diablo Magazine, an award-winning regional publication in the East Bay area of San Francisco. Up to 2002, she contributed seven major features, which can be read here. At the same time, she continued to write feature and special section articles for the Contra Costa Times.

Prior to her move to California, K.C. had 20 years' experience in public relations and marketing in the Washington, D.C. area. She drew upon this experience to provide marketing consulting services while she freelanced. She served as director of a fundraising campaign for the University of California San Francisco, director of marketing for the Bay Area’s largest luxury and corporate transportation company, and editor and writer of a trade newsletter for the PR industry. For more details on her experience, please see the Bio page.

Now living in the Caribbean, she is available for story assignments that relate to travel, personalities, culture and business. She is currently writing a guidebook on the Leeward Islands (Antigua & Barbuda, Anguilla, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Martin/St. Maarten, and St. Barts), making her a valuable resource for articles related to those locations.
